Column: Report and academic paper writing support service at the University of Tokyo

In writing report assignments and academic papers (especially in English), depending on your faculty/department, there may be a support service which you can get assistance on structuring and expressions of your writing. There may be seminars for the University of Tokyo students and faculty or staff. There are also classes on writing academic papers.
Part of the services is introduced below. For details, please check the URL and make full use of the resources. Please note that the eligibility of many of the services are limited to the members of the providing faculty.
Also there are services that are not indicated here. Please consult the faculty of your affiliation for services provided by your faculty.

If there is anything that you are unsure of on using one of the library services or you have trouble finding materials, feel free to consult your department library counter or submit questions to the librarians using the "ASK Service".

There are seminars on how to search for reference materials and to use reference management tools. We take requests for conducting seminars during classes and order made seminars for free.
